South India Exotic Tour

This tour takes you from the exotic fragrance of sandalwood and jasmine in Karnataka to that of eucalyptus and tea in the blue mountains, culminating in the coconut groves and water ways of Kerala, upto the golden beaches of Goa.

Day 1 : Bangalore
Meeting on arrival & transfer to hotel. Afternoon drive through the garden city with its numerous avenues of jacranda, gulmohar and cossia. Visit the Bull temple, and Tipu’s summer palace. Drive past numerous parks, the Vidhan Soudha and Downtown commercial center. Overnight in Bangalore.

Day 2 : Bangalore - Hassan (139kms / 4 hrs.)
Drive to Hassan via protima Bedi dance village. Arrive Hassan by lunch. Post lunch visit to Sravanabelogola to see the statue of Gamatevara, 17 m tall erected in 980 AD. On arrival check –in at hotel. In afternoon visit famous Haysala temples of Holebid and the Chennakesava temples of Belur. Overnight in Hassan.

Day 3 : Hassan - Mysore (125 kms / 2 ½ hrs )
Drive to Mysore via Sriangapatanam. Visit fort, Tipu Sultan’s palace and the Gombaz. Arrive Mysore by lunch. Evening at leisure to visit the beautiful Brindavan gardens. Overnight in Mysore.

Day 4 : Mysore
Full day city tour. Visit the spectacular Amber Vilas City Palace and Nandi Bull at the chamundi hills. Later visit sandal wood oil factory and Mysore silk factory. Overnight in Mysore.

Day 5 : Mysore - Ooty (130 kms / 4 Hrs)
Drive to Ooty, passing through lush forests of Bandipur 'and Modumalai wildlife sanctuaries from where the road climbs up to Ooty through, eucalyptus and tea plantations. Check in hotel. Later visit the Botanical gardens and Toda tribal village, Evening at leisure to stroll around the lake. Overnight in Ooty.

Day 6 : Ooty / Coonoor
Early morning drive to Dodabetta peak the highest in the Nilgiris. After breakfast, drive to Coonoor. Just (13kms) Check into hotel. Rest of day at leisure to visit Sims park, and enjoy cool walks through tea estates or drive to Lambs' Rock for a view of the plains Overnight Coonoor.

Day 7 : Coonoor / Cochin
Morning at leisure. Later board the Blue Mountain Express down till Mettupalayam. Drive to Cochin (143 kms. / 3 hrs.) Check in hotel. Overnight in Cochin.

Day 8 : Cochin
Full day tour of Cochin city visiting Mattancherry palace, Jewish synagogue and a back-water cruise to Bolghatty palace. Also view Chinese fishing nets. Evening view traditional Kathakali classical dance recital. Overnight in Cochin.

Day 9 : Cochin / Goa
Transfer to airport to board morning flight to Goa. Check into beach resort. Day at leisure. Overnight in Goa.

Day 10 : Goa
After a refreshing arrival do visit the best beaches which will give you enough room to indulge in Various activities such as Sun bath, water sports and boating. Calangute and Baga, the most splendid among them, will assist you in feeling a new life.

Day 11: Goa
Day at leisure on the beach for independent activities drive through south Goa to see interesting Portuguese homes and mansions. Overnight Goa.

Day 12 . Goa / Bombay or Delhi
Transfer to airport to connect flight for Bombay or Delhi.
